Bellavista School (est, 1967) is a small school specialising in the support of specific learning disabilities, centrally situated in Johannesburg, Gauteng
A legacy of excellent results
Bellavista School was founded with the purpose of delivering the curriculum to learners with barriers to learning that prohibits them from participating in mainstream education systems.
It is a co-educational school from Grade R to Grade 7 (ages 5 to 14).
Open admissions policy
The school has an open admissions policy and will, when placement allows, accommodate learners who have been identified as having learning propensity but are presenting with barriers within the curriculum.
Imagine College middle school
South Africa’s first middle school built on the premise of cognitive modifiability and proven cognitive development programmes for adolescents in Grades Eight and Nine with and without disabilities
Answering educational needs
Imagine College Birdhaven offers a curriculum and learning mediation model that answers the educational needs of middle schoolers on cognitive, motivational and social-emotional levels.
